About This Project

Garida Express is a full international shipping and logistics platform powering an Iraq-based company across three order pipelines — Buy For Me, Ship For Me, and a dedicated Shein procurement service. Built and operated end-to-end solo.

The stack pairs a Next.js admin web application and a Flutter iOS/Android mobile app on top of a Laravel REST API backbone, covering the full order lifecycle, multi-warehouse routing, and multi-shipment grouping.

Key Accomplishments

Designed a hybrid Firestore + MySQL data layer — Firebase handles identity, auth, and FCM tokens, while MySQL stores all operational data (orders, boxes, shipments, invoices, currencies).
Implemented a Shein cart scraper using Playwright with 2Captcha fallback that extracts cart contents, SKUs, and product images directly from shared Shein cart links, with retry logic and anti-detection measures.
Built a broadcast notification system with role/filter/individual targeting, one-shot and recurring schedules, and a Laravel scheduler that dispatches in the background every minute.
Created client-side PDF generation for invoices and shipping labels (single + bulk), a multi-tier currency snapshot system, and a roles/permissions framework synced across sidebar and mobile navigation.
Operate the entire production environment on a self-managed VPS — Nginx multi-subdomain routing, Let's Encrypt SSL with automated renewal, PM2 for the Next.js process, PHP 8.2-FPM for Laravel, MySQL, queue workers, and cron-scheduled commands.
